Traditional Thai massage always was and still is holistic in its core. Meaning not only that it treats the body, mind and spirit of a person as one unity, but also that it treats the body itself as one unity. More modern approaches seem to forget that, in their effort to evolve the practice, often excluding from their routine the less impressive, but very important, work on body parts like the head, face or hands.
At Kavi Hasta we learn to equally care for the whole of the body, especially when we offer a general, relaxing massage like most of our students learn to do in their first steps.
