Traditional Thai massage has always been and still is holistic at its core. This means treating not only the body, mind, and spirit of a person as one unity but also the body itself as one unity. More modern approaches seem to forget this concept and, in their effort to evolve the practice, they often exclude from their routine the less impressive but very important work on body parts like the head, face, or hands.
At Kavi Hasta, we learn to equally care for the whole body, especially when we offer a general, relaxing massage, which is what most of our students learn to do in their first steps.
